Tasteless jokes...
Apr. 7th, 2006 09:22 amThe quote of the day on my Google portal page is, "When a thing ceases to be a subject of controversy, it ceases to be a subject of interest." (William Hazlitt)
That's an interesting quote considering an email I got recently. It was from a friend, and a good one at that. She's a co-worker, and she also happens to be one of the first people to befriend me (although that started mainly due to her acquaintance with my hubby for the past five years).
Anyway, it was a tasteless joke titled, "Brokeback Spiders." I won't share it with you except to say that the title was a double entendre. I must have stared at it a good five minutes before I realize she sent it to me in good humor.
It's just a little thing really, and I'll likely never say anything to her about it. But I guess sometimes it's just the little things that make a difference. They can oft times be indicitive of a person's outlook.
But then I might be biased. *shrug*
In other news, my site has been shut down. I'll get it back up eventually whenever I get more money to pay my host. I never quite seem to have enough money these days...
