Does anyone remember a military incident back in the 90s where, I think, some Navy Seals were caught on film on a secret operation? Some journalists had caught wind of the operation and had headed them off at the beach they arrived at. They got there before they did, and as soon as they snuck onto the beach of whatever country they were in, the news teams turned on the lights and zoomed in with cameras.

I don't remember when it was. Where it was. Who all was involved. But I find myself damn curious to know whatever happened to those journalists. They couldn't have had good things happen to them.

I can't seem to find information on it though. I know I saw it on major news networks. It was huge news when it happened.

Anyone got info on that? It's been bugging me for awhile now...

Question: Anyone remember that botched Navy SEALs operation from back in the 90s I think it was? There had been a US news crew that were on the beach waiting for the crew as they were coming on shore for some sort of secret operation. They was a big todo about lines crossed and all that. I was trying to track old new archives about it but couldn't remember the date, the news corporations involved, or the location of the operation. Anyone remember details?

Completely forgot to mention this after I got back.  I actually had serve on a jury.  Yay me.  It was a two day trial for aggravated assault.  Was interesting process to go through.  The law is very specific about whether or not an assault happened, and if it did whether or not it's justifiable.

Everything I've ever heard about justifying yourself in court about these sorts of things?  Soooo not true.  LOL 

Wasn't a bad two days spent though.  If anything, it was like watching a live soap opera.

I'm just re-posting this from a forum I moderate for those of you looking for information on this.  I've got a few starter links below.

For the ECW fans out there, Vince made a short announcement prior to tonights show.  Chris Benoit and his family were found dead.  The ECW did a tribute to him, then were going to dedicate tonight's show to him.  As the details of the death came out, Vince came on and made the accouncement his name wouldn't be mentioned.  Sources say his name and works have since been removed from the corporate site.

There are some right creepy details popping up about this.  For those of you who are completely lost (as I was when I first caught the announcement), I did a bit of research.  Here's a few links to get you started if you want additional information.
