So many things going on right now, both online and off. RL is a bit tense sometimes (and not just a bit of a mess), so I won't get into it. I'd rather take my mind off it. So on that note, I shall ramble.

New Tokio Hotel Single
I love this. The sound reminds me a bit of 90s retro. It's on the "Best Of" german deluxe album.

ETA: And while we're on the subject, the Kaulitz twins did an ad for PETA (the photos were done to bring notice to the subject of cruelty to animals in captivity, though I'll freely admit seeing these two in chains just makes my muse cackle with glee)...


New Fandom Minion
My mother, bless her heart, has become a bit addicted to digital stories of the fan fiction variety. She's a fanatic of the written word, in general. However, lately her interests have taken a turn. I've been sharing with her my thoughts on funny or interesting stories I've read. Got her started out on some Harry Potter, then ventured into crossovers.

She's now discovered her favorite fandom: NCIS.

Not sure how that happened, and just a bit boggled by it. But there you have it. She loves Mark Harmon's character Gibbs.

NanoWrimo
I'm ridiculously behind on my word count. My health got in the way big time. But I've got a really good outline, ideas coming out my ears, and determination. So I'll get it finished, even if it does carry me over beyond November. I'm excited about my first ever writing adventure beyond the scope of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom. So it shall be written. Someday.

Thanksgiving Snow
We gots snow, and lots of it. And it's freakin' cold! My mom and I got sick of the traditional faire for our Thanksgiving Meal, so with the exception of the Turkey we're cooking all new recipes this year. I'll do another post on that a bit later with links to the recipes. But we're doing Pumpkin Dessert squares instead of pie, pull-apart cornmeal rolls instead of crescent rolls, mashed sweet potatoes with toasted pecans, citrus and cranberry salad, and apple bacon stuffing muffins. I'm really excited to try them all out!

Ooh! And for breakfast that day I'm making breakfast migas, which is done in the slow cooker overnight. Yummy!

Day 28 - A picture where all four of them look really good

As I'm looking through my collection of photos, I realize just how many of the photos with the entire band together are absolutely lovely. They look good together as a band. There's just this... cohesiveness that's hard to fake, and even harder to obtain.

I've also found I have a particular fondness for the Humanoid photo shoot. The top one is my favorite. Others from the same shoot are under the cut.

Day 27 - Favorite German song from Humanoid (audio of video)

I'd like to say this is an easy choice, but it's really not. There are distinct differences between the lyrics and meanings of each of the songs of this album between the German and English versions. The German version tend to be quite a bit more personal in nature.

However, from the moment I heard this song, I fell in love with the band all over again. I just love it. The addition of the female voice just adds a bit of something to it. So, this one I favor just a bit more over the others.

Day 25 - Post whatever you want of them (:

Wooo! It's been a bit of a break on these. I'd got caught up in some RL issues and put this on the back burner. Originally I'd figure while I was down, I might as well wait for pictures of the Twins 21st birthday. Damn them though, they went underground for that party and no pictures surfaced.

We got other cool stuff though. Here's a few of my favorites from what they've been up to lately.


Twins in an Audi A1 campaign. There was a comic and everything.


The Twins made it onto the cover of L'Uomo Vogue for October 2010. There's a nice spread in that issue featuring lots of yummy pics.


See? Yummy. Amused at Tom resisting the vogue fashion throughout the entire issue. LOL


Pretty sure I haven't posted pics from this even yet. This was taken on the red carpet of the MtV Singfest event in Malaysia. Here we have Bill with this "In the Army Now" look. LOL We got leather pants for the concert though, so that made up for it.

Day 22 - A picture of Gustav’s ass that makes you go O.O

LMAO! Oh, I have not been keeping up with this subject. As ginormous as my collection of TH pictures is, there are no pictures of Gustav's ass in there. I had to Google for these, which as you might imagine was quite a hardship. Also? A near impossible task.


It's black and white, and it features Gustav's behind. Though what made me o.0 was wondering what on earth he's doing here.

Day 21 - Favorite of Georg’s hair lengths

Been a rough week for me. Haven't been up to posting much. Lots of love and hugs to bunnyohare and chicken_cem for brightening things up for me. I got my Humanoid City LIVE DVD and am loving it. That would have been such an awesome concert to see in person!

Now on to the meme. I love hair, so posting about Georg's hair length is a favorite subject of mine second only to Bill's.


The longer the better. I'll always love his hair longer. Technically speaking, this isn't the longest he's had his hair, but it's the closest I could come with what I had on hand.

Day 20 - Favorite of Bill’s hairstyles

Feeling tons better after my minor meltdown yesterday. Finally I feel I can concentrate on much more important things, like Bill's hair! Bill is always amusing me with his changing hairstyles. I'm more like Tom myself. I've had like two hairstyles my whole life. I try changing them up and making 'em look different and people just snicker at me. *sigh* So, here's my favorites.


When Bill first walked down the red carpet with this hair, I was completely stunned. It'd been the first time I'd seen him, at least knowing who he was, without his infamous lion mane hair. He's so beautiful like this.
