Somewhere East of Life

The cops came out last night and did their spying thing. The guy came by right on schedule. As soon as he pulled from in front of our house, two cop cars went chasing after him. Scared the guy to death I think, but they chased him for half a mile before he pulled over.

He ended up getting a speeding ticket (he got up to 50 before he pulled over), one for evading the police, and yet another for disturbing the police (for revving his engine in front our house). Hubby said that the second cop car who ran his plates to check his record was chanting to himself "warrant, warrant, please have a warrant". They really don't have enough to do in this end of town. Nope, no warrants on this guy, but they were still suspicious (or disspointed that they didn't get to arrest him). They told him not to stop in front of anyone's house to revv his engine, and that if he did it again he'd be arrested. We're to call the police to let them know if he stops in front of our house again, because they would then charge him with stalking.

*snerk* I still think it's a guy thing...

So, you heard all about the people that've been watching our house. In lieu of filing a report though, they sent out officers to talk with us. Tonight they're staking out the house. *snerk* I think it's a guy thing. Anyway, One officer will be around the corner watching the guy leave his house, then another will be in the shadow's watching for the people to drive up. They officer actually said he hopes the guy spots them and drives off at high speed because, "We always love a good high speed chase." He says he was kidding. O_o They also ran a check on the people who were doing it (since hubby knows where they live now - and they're neighbors).

It'll probably turn out being totally innocent and we'll have peeved neighbors, but hey - excitement. Oh how the mighty have fallen...

Eh, I finally reached the end of Nano with the required amount of words. Now all I got to do is finish the story. I'm rather proud of that accomplishment. I'm happy to announce that my writing partner also finished a winner.

Now, I'm trying to get back to a regular amount of work and get caught up on my website updating. I've got to finish uploading B:tVS season 5 through 7 and Angel seasons 1 through 4. Yup, I'm that behind. It was behind when I bought the site though, so I can't take all the blame. It's just been a nightmare trying to get it up to date.

So yeah, you see that little chipper bouncy icon down there. Doesn't sound like it, but it's true. I'm in a really good mood and ready to face the coming days.
