The cops came out last night and did their spying thing. The guy came by right on schedule. As soon as he pulled from in front of our house, two cop cars went chasing after him. Scared the guy to death I think, but they chased him for half a mile before he pulled over.

Heh, quite the story they pulled out of him too. Apparently, the house we've seen him at is his girlfriend's house. O_o Oh wait, it get's better. He has a regular route. He works two jobs. He gets off early from job one and goes straight to his lover's house for a good shagging. Then he goes around the block to his house, which is also down the street from us the other direction. He says hi to wifey, kisses her goodbye, and off he drives past our house to his second job (though more than once he's driven straight back to his girlfriends house from apparently having the night from job two off).

So what was he doing in front of our house? Praying. O_o See, in our town there's this freakin' huge lighted cross sitting atop a hill in town. You can see it from practically everywhere in town, but especially well from our house. We've got a million dollar view up here with nothing to block it. So, he sits in front of our house to say his prayers to the lighted cross, adjust the choke on his truck engine, then drive on his merry way for either more shagging or working the second job.

He ended up getting a speeding ticket (he got up to 50 before he pulled over), one for evading the police, and yet another for disturbing the police (for revving his engine in front our house). Hubby said that the second cop car who ran his plates to check his record was chanting to himself "warrant, warrant, please have a warrant". They really don't have enough to do in this end of town. Nope, no warrants on this guy, but they were still suspicious (or disspointed that they didn't get to arrest him). They told him not to stop in front of anyone's house to revv his engine, and that if he did it again he'd be arrested. We're to call the police to let them know if he stops in front of our house again, because they would then charge him with stalking.

*snerk* I still think it's a guy thing...

Sounds as if he has some serious issues. I can't stand men who have, 'I want my cake and eat it too,' mentality. They usually don't know what they want out of life.

That's certainly one way of putting it. I actually feel sorry for the guy, though. I don't think he's going to be able to keep up with a life like he's living for very long without losing it, and everything else in his life.

I do know that doing things like that have a way of finding their way to the surface, in other words the sh*t eventually hits the fan. A person can't continue to live like that before he or it crashes.
