I just had the coolest dream. It was like Peter Pan meets Harry Potter meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Night of the Living Dead. o.0 Odd, I know.
In my dream, I was part of a recruiting mission. It was set in "modern" times, but in the future. We were going around picking up the lost children, the forgotten ones sent to juvie and the like. I kept picking up passengers on the way though, but I'm not sure if they were my target or just people that I came across that hadn't been infected. I had a hot air balloon type deal, kinda of like the one in Water World. This one had two platforms, and the base one was a canoe.
At one point, I had gone to three of the kids houses at their request to send out alert messages to their network of internet friends. I managed to hack into all three accounts from one location, but the house was attacked just as I got the messages out. I didn't realize the people coming in were infected until they all started swarming like zombies and foaming at the mouth. So, I did some nifty Buffy type tricks and made it out to the roof where I'd left the balloon with theo the other refugees.
We just barely made it out, but with only two of the recruits I'd been targetting. We flew back out to base camp which almost seemed as if it was in a tree. As they were dropping to the landing tent, I was seperating them into training groups. Each different task group had their own training and tests they ran the recruits through. I switched characters at that point and became someone who had been recruited to a special group that the commander took care of himself. I didn't know what though, and I woke up before I could find out.  Thought I might mention here that the groups are seperated into things like computer work and hacking, weaponry... I don't remember what all else. All unusual things though.
ETA: Do y'all think you could do me a favor? For those of you that frequent Xander Xtreme, could you mosey on over here and take a survey about a story we're debating on whether or not we should archive or not (it's "Rules of Life" by Jennifer Burch-Lewis. It's an X/S, X/OMC story, but the problem is that it kinda sways between the dominant and submissive in the middle.). Also, if you've got a bug about something on XX you've itching to see us change, there's space there to let us know. Thanks!
