Head pounding.  Sounds make hurt.  *gives best puppy dog look and puts out hand for brownies*  Symapthy?

Had an interesting dream last night.  It was some kind of adventure that made me tense and anxious.  Don't remember a thing about it.  So how do I know it made me tense, anxious, and that it was an adventure?

It all started with me sleeping. Hubby came to bed about an hour after I did, and pulled back the covers.  Somehow, this freaked me out.  I was jolted out of a dead sleep and jumped about a foot in the air, kicked out and shoved my cat right off the end of the bed, and sat straight up and barely aware of what was going on.

Didn't actually become semi-aware of what I was doing until I heard the thump of my 18 lb. cat hitting the floor out of his own dead sleep.

Sat there in a complete stupor not knowing why I was awake, curious as to whether the thump really was my cat getting kicked off the bed and hitting the floor, and wondering why hubby was standing there frozen to the spot still holding the covers in one hand and warding me off with the other and trying to calm me with huge anime eyes and saying dazedly, "It's okay, it was just a dream. Just calm down."

Yeah.  That's never actually happened to me before.  It was so bizarre.  Didn't really sleep all that well after that and woke up with a nasty migraine.  It came and went throughout the day, and came back with a vengeance when I tried to sit down and play HALO 2.  *moop*

Computer screen is actually bothering me too, as is the sound of clicking little letters eating at my brain like little rabid ants... *cough*  Yeah.  So, printing out some fics to catch up on and will get back with those of you to which I owe graphics, some time tomorrow.  I'd taken the day off to work on my novel, and I still will, but I need to do some graphics.  *nods*

ETA: I've edited this three different times correcting stupid mistakes. My brain apparently went on auto-pilot, but ran out of gas two exits back. *g*

You say that you want brownies, but then you say that you're nauseated! **clutches brownies to chest, uncertain as to how to proceed**

Way I figure it, they say chocolate is the next best thing to sex. Sex is good for headaches. Ergo, brownies will make me feel better. *g*

I hate it when I can't sleep and I want to play on the puter but the light from the screen hurts my eyes. Alot of times I end up turning the contrast on my laptop down, if it gets too bad.

Hope the migraine goes away.*hugs*

Can understand that. The computer screen doesn't usually make a difference one way or another, but it does happen once in awhile.

Thanks for the well wishes. It did go away eventually. Didn't wake up with one this morning either. :)

Been getting bad ones too, though I can't quite pin down what was causing it. I do feel better though, and didn't wake up with one this morning. :)

::tries to stop laughing long enough to type::

I'm sorry, sweetie, but I used to scare the $hit outta my husband with those kinds of wake ups, so I can practically see the look on your guy's face. Never jettisoned a cat though. :;snickers madly::

I hope your migraine takes a hike soon. *hugs*

Hee. I felt to so bad about it later, but it is funny. Glad to see I'm not the only one. :)

*hugs you back* It went away some time later last night, and I feel much better this morning.

I've booted some cats off like that, too. Of course, eventually there are retaliations.

I hope your headaches go away.

*looks around warily* Retaliations? *gulp*

And thank you. It went away sometime last night. Had to take some Tylenol PM to get some decent sleep, but it helped. :)

Maybe yours don't have those. And really the cause and effect aren't there, because they're cats, and cats aren't vindictive. But sometimes they do chase each other across the bed and inflict claw-y casualties on innocent lying-down bystanders.

Glad your headaches went away.

Hope you get to feeling better.

If it makes you feel better during times of stress I sleepwalk. Ended up outside a couple of times, not good for the area I was living in at the time. The funniest though was when Mom had to door blocked and I couldn't figure it out and I ran into her room crying because I couldn't get out to feed the rhino's.

Yeah, rhino's.

I'm weirder asleep that I am awake. Scary, huh?

MWAH!

I feel much better this morning, thank you.

Ooh, I used to sleepwalk as a kid. Was kind of a stressful time for me then. Never quite made it outside though. And rhinos? ::giggle::

*smooch*

What was worse is we lived on the edge of East Beckley, where if you stopped at a sign and looked in someone's car a gun would appear. My neighbor two doors down was a budding sociopath and did icky things to animals.

I'm lucky the worst I got was mild frostbite on bare feet.
