Rant & Rave
Nov. 11th, 2004 03:32 pmOkay first of all, it's wonderful that people are high on the lovin' of Johnny Depp. You know, what with the release of the first season on DVD. Woo and hoo. But, what about my Richard Grieco? Everybody and their dog has screencaps of Johnny. I want them of Richard!!! *stomps foot and pouts* Okay, okay. I don't even think he was in the first season. I would know really. When I watched the show I was too young to count episodes. I just remember, "OOh, shiny!"
Second of all, the interview went well. I think she raised her eyebrows at a couple of my respones to her questions. One in particular was, "Tell me about a time when you didn't meet the deadline of a current project." I thought about it for a minute and said, "I've never done that." She looks skeptical and asks, "You have *never* not met a deadline?" I thought about it for another minute just to be sure and said, "That's the gist of it." And shrugged like it's the most normal thing in the world. I think I might have missed the deadline for a paper or two in my senior year of highschool, but again with the lack of memories there. My mom was just always the type to make me get my projects done even if they killed me to make sure they were done on time. Kinda carried over I guess. There were a few times my Mom had made me stay up until 4am or so trying to get projects for school done.
I suppose now you're wondering how it went. She asked me to start training Monday. Had my drug screen afterwards. Then came home and promptly crashed out. They still have a few more references to check, but if all works out I would have my first day of official work on the week after next. w00t! *bounce*
