saifaiNot having a good day. First, I stayed up all night trying to catcha glimpse of the winner, but finally gave up around 4am. Got up around noon to find out Asshat won.
*sigh*
Next up, hubby had taken the first couple days of the week off because he seriously injured his back. He tries to go back to work today and they won't let him. They say because he called in sick, he needs a work release from a doctor. o.0 He didn't go to a doctor, so either he needs to cough up the money to get an emergency visit today. Or he needs to wait for a few days before he can get an appointment with a doctor who will let him make payments. Either way, it's a few more days without work for him.
He's actually been taking paid days off, but with this new development there's no guarantee they'll pay him for them. Plus, he's got a time limit. He waits too long without an excuse and they'll fire him. It's a long convoluted story of corporate red tape. At this point, if he wants to get another job and just skip it all, he will still need to get into the doctor to get a release. He doesn't want to be fired, so basically he would have to get back into work, then immediately give his two weeks. Doesn't make much sense to do it at that point.
For right now though, he's working on doing the research for his financials on the business plan he's putting together for his investors. Hopefully if everything works out he'll get funding for his company and won't have to worry about this anyway. But then again I like to dream, so...

kyrieane for her help yesterday. I re-wrote the first part of my Nano. Best to do it now before I figure out I'm stuck half way through. I'll still a bit behind, but the story is going much better now. I'm hoping to get caught up soonish.
Oh, and the thing from yesterday with the viola? Hubby got a refund on the payments he'd made previously and got out of the contract. Turns out his friend had been emailing in payments and neglected to tell him that. Also, the grandmother had tried last month to get the contract in her name, but couldn't without hubby's signature. It all worked out in the end.
Also? I'm hungry. Haven't had time to eat today. If it's not one thing it's another. Y'all ever have days like that?
