Random Crossover Thought

saifaiIt just occurred to me the differences in certain shows and how they might connect. Like in Harry Potter, every wizard can see ghosts. At least in the movies, it's never mentioned if muggles can see them too. For the purposes of my argument, I'm saying they can't.
So in shows like Ghost Whisperer, where only certain people (mediums and psychics) can see ghosts, perhaps it's some latent ability from Wizards being in their past somewhere? Or maybe some random manifestation like with muggleborns?
