A bit of news, Part Two

saifaiNow for the exciting bit of news. I think I mentioned once or twice the paranormal investigation group that I had investigated. Well last night I had my first training session. It really was quite the experience.
I'm a what?!
The first surprising thing as that I was introduced to the group as a "sensitive," or someone who is more sensative to the energy around them. I had not realized that the experiences I've had are not of the norm. What really made the difference for this is walking through the cemetery.
We walked through the old military cemetery in town. I may have been there once or twice, as it looked vaguely familiar to me. I know that sounds a strange thing to say, but I don't remember much from my senior year of high school or the couple years after that. I might have been there, and it looked vaguely familiar, but I'm not positive.
So how does this work?
But I digress. Part of the reason for me being there is they wanted to test my feelings as a sensative against what they already knew of the area through prior research. It was odd for me first of all to have a feeling or sensation that they then expected me to share with the group. I'm so used to either ignoring it, or feeling it and not sharing it. But I found as I went through the area that when I would have an out of place emotion, a strong sensation of being watched, or perhaps see something out of the corner of my eye? Someone else in the group would pick up on it moments later for one reason or another.
For example, when I first got there I noticed right away two trees that seemed to have a red glare between them. I don't see all that well at night anyway, so I wasn't sure what to make of it. Once we got in through the gates of the cemetery though, I couldn't find the two trees that I first saw. It wasn't until we were leaving that they led me over to a grave to visit a young lady named "Alice" who has been picked up on audio before. When I got there, I turned around in a circle to see the two trees. Her grave was situated between those two trees.
Another example was one particular area of the cemetery that holds no graves. I felt a pull towards it. I felt giddy and was anxious to see it. I wanted to run down and see it. Another of their members, a sensative, called the leader of the group to tell her to investigate that area a bit later. Once we finally got down there though, I felt a strong feeling of being watched. I felt that tense sensation in my skin when someone is standing close to you. Another woman who was with me at that time held the temperature gauges. The temperature dropped in that area. Only further analysis will tell if the audio shows anything, but we spotted a few odd things on film.
The last example, was when we were leaving. I caught something out of the corner of my eye. I looked to the left and saw what looked like a path. I shined my flashlight up there, and saw a small dirt path and a line of gravestones rather out of the way at the top corner of the cemetery. I flash of color popped up, and squinting revealed it to be perhaps a bouquet of flowers. I had caught the attention of one of the other ladies in the group, and was just about to suggest we go up there for one last look since I started to feel anxious about the area. The leader of the group came up behind me. She said, "Well lets go visit the Collins and then we can leave." It turned out to be an area they visit often. It's a family. All their children died young, and within a few years of each other. I'm not sure when the father died, but he outlived his entire family by many years at least.
What now?
Well, now I just learn how to do the investigations and work the equipment. In a couple weeks another person is going on their first training session. I'll be going along then. Only time will tell how this goes. Regardless of what feelings I have, I am still rather excited to learn more about what goes on out there.
