saifaiI finally, finally, managed to stop the incoming spam submissions at my search engine. Those things were driving me batty.
I had about 6,000 waiting submissions. I had so many incoming I reached my server limits. I found the database file and cleared it out (why I didn't look for it before I'll never know).
Ask me how many submissions I had this morning? Go ahead and asks. *bounces impatiently* Okay, I'll tell you. One (you were expecting zero?). But it was a legitimate submission, not just a drive by drop-off thingy. Well okay, legitimate is stretching it. It was for a stupid site that doesn't have anything to do with the subject of the directory. Whatever. But it was done manually!
I am so relieved. One less thing to drive me nuts is a very good thing. *gr*
