The paper is winning. This is not a good thing. Had I more done, I would say that I should be winning. But I'm not. On the bright side of things, the research is nearly complete. *shuffles feet* Sort of. *gr*
In other news, hubby and I have discovered something of potential value that our lovely creditors will inevitably decide to take. My new computer (the one I was scheduled to receive in another week). So, no new computer for me. I don't even get to look at it. I'll start saving for another one though, and hopefully in 30 to 90 days from now I'll actually be able to keep one.
On the brighter side of things, I've become addicted to reading Lord of the Rings crossover fics. I've gone through all the characters down the alphabet I could find in the Twisting the Hellmouth archive. Currently I'm on W (Willow). Okay, I might have skipped ahead to X (Xander). I'm not sure I can pick a favorite so far. I gotta say though, as someone who has never read the books, I think I want to now. A lot of the folks use the books as their research for background and such. Some even use plot points from them (which leaves me entirely confused, but entertained none the less). *shrug* Just a thought.
