saifaiMy birthday has come and gone. I thought maybe I should feel like an adult now. After talking to a few different folks though, I really don't. My older sister was telling me that she always feels so young when she comes across someone older. Like you feel you were in school and around your teachers. Even with children, she doesn't feel like an adult.
I suppose youth is a perspective to some degree.
I made off with some decent loot for my birthday. My hubby gave me an MP3 player, which pleases me greatly. Hubby's sentiments were along the lines of, "So you can finally get your crap off my harddrive." ::giggles:: Mom got me some cool stuff I asked for like a travel pillow, a victorian travel stamp set, and some cash.
Oh, and my sister got me a stuffed flamingo. It's one of those ones from the Build a Bear Factory. I have to go to the local store in town to get it stuffed. He's so adorable. I think I'm going to call him Herbert. Hubby suggested Furbert.
Not much else is going on here except for my last minute efforts to write a paper I should have started working on a week ago. But as usual I waited until the last minute. *gr* I'll get it done I'm sure, I just can't guarantee the quality. I'm off to get that done. *waves*
