Yup, it's a holiday again. I'm spending it by doing yet more home repairs and yardwork, then watching fireworks from the front lawn while eating hamburgers and potatoe salad.

I've been working on some digital art. The company my hubby currently works with is doing a fundraiser for the Children's Miracel Network. They're auctioning off some of the employee's art for the cause. Hubby volunteered my skills. There's another digital artist submitting work for it too, though he works with his own photography (and I've never actually seen any of his digital stuff). I'm using some stock photographs to make collage-type paintings. Some landscapes, an eagle/flag thing, and one with a flower/bee. Trying to get permission to use one of my JM pieces, but I don't know how well that will go over.

Anyway, I'm off to the other house to do some work. If I can manage to dig my camera out of one of the packed boxes I'll try to take pictures of the fireworks show. The view from the house us gorgeous around this particular holiday.
