First, I'm moving. Across town. To a cracker jack box. *gets out the sparklers*
The Dad is gone
Also, my parents divorce is final. Rumor has it Dad moved to Florida. My sister, the one with the grandkids, lives in SC and his girlfriend lives in Georgia. Sounds a bit cliche to me, but... *shrugs*
It's the (family) size that matters
Oh, and hubby's parents are in town this weekend. His siblings have decided to take advantage of that and throw a small intimate get together, just the immediate family. They rented out space at the park. Why? It's the only place big enough they could find to house us all, especially considering with all the kids there. *snerk* Have I mentioned before that you need to take an aerial photo to get the entire family into one shot? Yeah.
Hubby's tight schedules
Not only had hubby got a securities brokerage working to get his investment project off the ground by May 20th, but he's now the lead rep. for a local security company in their hidden camera department. Let me just say it's a good thing I work with him on some projects or I don't think I'd see him very often. In fact, I was talking to my Mom the other day about just that very subject. We had been discussing Dad again. We were talking about what they were both like when around each other over the past few years. I'd brought up the fact that I knew that hubby and I had problems when he was never home anymore. She kinda looked at me funny and said, "But that's how it is now." She's got me there. I just shrugged and replied, "Yeah, I know. But at least this time he's not doing it to avoid me." Feh.

Last but not least, just a little something I created one night while bored out of my mind. I think it turned out fine, but you really can't tell what it was I was going for (unless I posted the originals). Anyway, here's a Dawn manipulation.
