Nope, I didn't. I chickened out. I recorded it though. I'm actually a bit behind. Been meaning to catch up, but honestly knowing that it's gonna be angtsy and sad, I just couldn't deal with it.

I've been watching them with my Mom. We always tape it so we can watch them later. Poor thing has been having to go through not watching them either. Like last night, she said she wanted to get started on catching up so we could watch the finale. I told her no outright.

Then my hubby got caught in the middle of it because when he came home he noticed my sad expression and wondered what was going on. My mom said, "Oh, she's just being dramatic. The shows over, deal with it." It was at that point I hid the rest of the tapes from her and wouldn't let her have them.

*sigh* Is that bad? I know I'll watch it. Chances are I'll have been through the tapes and seen the finale by the end of this weekend. I just feel like if I watch it I can't live in denial any longer.

Feh. I'm just pathetic. Anyway, I'm off to catch up on some fics.

ETA: I've just made a gihugic batch of comfort cookies (aka chocolate chip cookies with nuts).

That is not bad! You tell her! Ladycat777 says it best - It's not just a fucking TV show. It's FAMILY. And if you worry about created family (ie, us) being of less worth, you need to watch BtVS season 6 Family again. ;)
