Highlander the Series Marathon

I've been up since 5:30am this morning watching the Highlander marathon on SciFi. I've only had two naps. Not bad I'd say. LOL

I must say, that the idea of a relationship between Richie and Duncan is just too easy. I mean come on. It practically writes itself.

They've got the love at first sight. The heated looks. The trips that don't include the girlfriend. o.0



Why didn't I watch this when it was first on? I'll never know. (well technically I did, but only like the first episode and only that one because it had Connor on it).

Now I wonder what happens when Methos comes into the picture...

LOL I thought about watching too... :D but it would've started way even earlier for me cuz ours is on satellite and goes by Eastern time on SciFi.

All the women at the convention in April were going gaga over Adrian Paul when he was on stage. Mind you, it was the OLDER women, none of the young girls knew who he was and were just like O.o.

Ha! I can imagine. The highlander tv series started when I was in high school. I just watched an interview of him from a convention, and they'd filmed it during the photo taking opportunity. Now that you mention it, they were all older women. LOL (except for the poor lady interviewing him who was way young and looked like she was about to faint)

Cool! I'll have to take a look. I'd looked up interviews because his accent sounded a bit off on the show so I'd wondered what his natural speaking voice sounded like.

it sounds basic british, not hardcore scottish like say... Christopher Lambert who played Connor MacLeod or softer like Sean Connery.

Christopher Lambert always sounded a bit French to me. *looks up* Ah. American-born French actor they're calling him. LOL

Weird, that's one pairing I've never been into. It's like Buffy/Giles to me, it feels way to much like a parent/child relationship to ever even consider it.

Not entirely. They only ran through the first season of the series, or at least a good portion of it I think. They're just now about half-way through the most recent Highlander movie (Highlander: The Source). They're gonna play Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, and then start back up on the marathon afterwards. I think the next episode comes on at 9pm MST and will run until 4am.

Ah, yes. That would be a problem then. LOL - But think of the positive. There's like... 12 more hours of marathon to go. Can't possibly miss ALL of it. :)
