I have been working to ignore the recent ex's nuptials. I've been working a few extra hours at work. A former classmate from highschool (who also had a crush on the ex) is now a co-worker. Oh, and I'm doing the Nano. I'm taking the chance to pull together a few dreams I've had and trying to make something cohesive out of it. So far so good. I'll give more details as I have them. Haven't gotten very far, but I'm making progress.

My mother is off on vacation for two weeks. She set one of my good friends to keep my company (or Georgie Sit as she calls it). I'm going over to her house later today so we can have Movie Fest v2.0 (v1.0 was last weekend). We're watching Transformers, Lord of the Rings (extended edition), Transformers, Monty Python's and the Holy Grail, Transformers, Ronin, and Transformers. Yes, mother, I am taking my Nano note-taking device with me so I can sneak in some plot and scene ideas during the movies.

Oh, and dude. As if I didn't have enough to garner my attention on the web as it is, now Amazon has to go and pull this on me. *grumbles and gets comfy to watch*

Good for you ignoring the ex. He'll be getting reamed in a divorce soon enough.

Yay for NaNo...best of luck to you!

That sounds like an awesome movie marathon! Have lots of fun. How's the Nano going? I recently finished my Nano from 2 years ago that I started when I met you. OMG DO I WIN--totally late?

Best of luck in the NaNoRealm. I'm doing the NaNoWriMo thing again this year, too. I'm behind due to the fact that I have a couple knitting projects to complete by early December, and so it's been a juggling act between writing and knitting. :O)

As for boosting your NaNo Word Count, my boyfriend introduced me to the NaNoChatRoom at http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/chatting . In the chat room, they launch these word wars, where a time limit is set (5, 10, 20 minutes long; depends on the war) and during that "war", you just write your brains out. Surprisingly, a time limit seems to shut off the inner editor and ramp up the creativity generator. I've only been writing since around 11:45am EDT today, and I've kicked out an astounding 2,072 words! I'm about 800 words away from being back on track for where I should be this month. Just an option to consider if you begin to feel you're falling behind.
