Still taking it one day at a time here. I don't know what to do with myself. Today I'm immersing myself in music, reading fics (today's selection includes re-reading "A Union of Heaven and Hell" by Mihreia), and thinking.
I talked to Todd again last night. He's proud of me I think. He tells me this is the best decision I could have made for myself right now. He asked me, "So what are you going to do now?" I was silent a moment and finally replied with, "I don't know." He said back with a smile, "Whatever you want, right?" I had to smile at that. It's something to think about, certainly. There's so much behind that simple phrase.
He also gave me something to read. He said, "Read this and we'll talk about your thoughts next time we talk." It's actually an interesting short story titled, "The Story of An Hour" by Kate Chopin. It's about a woman whose family must tell her that her husband has passed on, but feels they must take care because of her heart condition. I haven't read it yet, so I'll let you know how that goes.
Ah yes, and here's yet another graphic I never did anything with. I originally did it for a
blendage challenge, but missed the deadline. It's my first experiment with coloring a black and white photograph. I used one of my coloring techniques on it that worked fairly well (one that I've still to finish the tutorial on). I'm still not entirely pleased with the results, but it's not bad considering it's my first try.
