Word of the Day: Cube Farm - An office filled with cubicles.  Closely associated with the term "Prairie Dogging" which is when someone yells or drops something loudly in a cube farm, and people's heads pop up over the walls to see what's going on.

Film of the Day: Pirates of the Caribbean - Hubby and I saw it tonight after a lovely dinner out.  I loved the film.  I was a continuation, and a new plot, and still had that creative quirky fun that made me love the original.  There was only one problem... they got a few of the facts wrong.  Cut for those who've not seen it... )

Strange but true...:
1) Betsy Ross sewed a flag for her hubby?  So not true.  Apparently her grandson (maybe?) was a great PR guy.  He made the story up.  The first flag didn't come about until 30 years later.  That flag is the one that inspired our National Anthem.  It currently resides in the Smithsonian.
2) Hindenburg?  It actually was from Germany.  I know most of you are like, Duh!  But in school they told us about it but never really concentrated on the details.  I know that it exploded pretty close to the ground.  I just assumed it was shortly after takeoff or something.  It actually had come over the Atlantic all the way from Germany to deliver mail.  The captain tried to land it during a lightening storm in what turned out to be a disastrous mistake.
3) Extinct fish?  Not so much. Coelacanth, I think. I'd heard of it before. Apparently Smithsonian got ahold of one (in like 1935 or something). Guess it wasn't as extinct as they thought. Someone not too long ago managed to film one during a diving expedition.

And that concludes today's episode. Stay tuned tomorrow when we'll find out if Saifai found Twinkies or not.
