Gah. Where did I hide the cookies?
Aug. 6th, 2006 03:36 amI lost 5 pounds this week. *pats self on back* The problem is I don't have any snack foods in the house. Well, not anymore anyway.
I've got all this healthy stuff. There's carrots, and celery, and grapes. There's even three different kinds of salad. Guess what that means? It's 3:30am and I've got munchies and there's nothing to eat. *pouts*
I never did bake any of those chocolate chip cookies this week. Worse yet I'm off to buy the stuff to make more. Yet, it didn't stop me from losing weight. It's amazing the pounds I can shed if I stop eating the non-healthy snacks.
*flails and frantically looks around for twinkies* I'm going into withdrawls here. I need processed sugar, folks. It's killing me.

On a not so unrelated note, my sleep schedule is totally whacked. You probably guessed that what with the 3:30am and all. *shrug* Hubby's been working late and coming home late and going to sleep to wake up early and go to work again.
What's that got to do with me? I help him get up. There's the minor bonus of me actually being awake and alert when he gets home so we can spend time together.
The only drawback to this situation is that I get hungry right about now. I eat dinner at maybe 7pm. Then I don't eat breakfast until after I wake up around 11:30am or noon. That's a lot of time without food.
Have I mentioned I have food on the brain? *gives up on the twinkies and searches for hidden stashes of chocolate*

P.S. Today is... *checks clock* scratch that. Yesterday was my eleventh wedding anniversary. Hopefully today hubby and I can do a little something to celebrate. We're planning on lunch and a movie. Who knows what'll happen from there. *bounce*
