Screws loose and crossovers
Jan. 16th, 2006 02:45 pmI lost my appetite. I'm constantly tired. I can't sleep. Do you think that's a bad thing? ...and no, for the last time *glares at hubby* I haven't called the doctor yet.
Meanwhile, I've been reading Lord of the Rings crossovers. Found some pretty interesting ones written by
trekqueen. There's one that's a almost has a plot crossover with Startrek TNG, "Pointy-Eared Mischief." In this one, the elves method of leaving for Valinor include taking off in space ships. Warf can't beat Glorfindel in a match... twice. Deanna Troi gets it on with Elronds twins sons, and Dr. Crusher gets it on with Rumil.
Then the WIP sequel, "Drunken Hobbits and an Irishman," takes place on Deep Space Nine. Warf still can't beat Glorfindel, but apparently Jadzia Dax can (and then Glorfy and Dax get to know each other "bettter"). So does Haldir and Kira. Oh yeah, and Gandalf and Galadriel are kidnapped by the Cardasians.
ETA: Just thought I'd warn anyone who was curious enough to read those, they contain Het. There be no slash. *gasp* I know... the horror! But still good reads.
Hee. It's great fun to read these.
Next up on the to-read list we have Frodo and Samwise stuck on Enterprise, and Yoshi can't seem to get the translators to work right.
