saifai | Divorce

Well damn. Mom came home from a two week trip visiting her grandkids back east, and came home to divorce papers. Yup, the very same dad that just had quadruple bypass heart surgery and now has prostate cancer has filed for divorce, cleaned out their bank accounts, and took off with the silverware (china is still here though...).

I can't quite decide whether to feel sad or happy. I cried at first. I was here at her house at the time since my hubby had gone to pick her up and I had dinner waiting for her. She went up to her bedroom to drop off her bags and came back down with a goodbye letter (which I read).

I'm just kinda at a WTF moment. I think I'll curl up in my office chair, gorge on chocolate, and read some nice Spike Fic.
