saifaiSmall blessings it seems were in store for me. My ancient monitor has finally been replaced. It was actually said to see it go. That thing has been with me ever since I had my old Packard Bell.
Ah well. *gr* My new toy is a lovely flat panel 19" LCD. It's all nifty. It's not a gaming monitor by any stretch, but it can manage a nice movie or two. The resolution is gihugic though. Going from a 800x600 to a max of 1440x900 is quite a change.
As it happens, the new monitor is the same color as my new computer. The new computer should be here in a week or so. The guy has some last minute upgrades to make (he waited until right before we are to get it before he installed the memory). We're making a couple last minute changes, and voila! New system for saifai.
