Oww... and huh?
Apr. 21st, 2006 07:34 amThe Oww
Overworked myself last night. I volunteered to help setup a bus for a big event involving about 50 pre-schoolers. Between the three of us that worked on the bus however, I was the only one with experience enough to set it all up correctly. Why that is I'm not sure considering they've gone through the same training I have, but whatever...
I came home last night with a sore back. I had gone into my supervisor's office to get her to sign off on the extra time and tolder her, "I'm calling in for donations to the National Chocolate Society of America. I'm the President and sole beneficiary of all donations."
She handed over a bag of M&Ms.
The Huh
On a bizarre note, I think I might have had a seizure of some sort this morning but I'm not sure. When I first got up I had vertigo (which I've discovered the headache medicine has no effect on) so I called in to work for the AM shift.
When I went back to bed, I stayed awake until after the hubby left for work. I got comfy and tried to fall back asleep. But I couldn't. I kept hearing my hubby arguing with someone. I thought he'd left though. I pulled the covers up over my chin and tried to drown out the noise.
All of a sudden, my body starts shaking with violent shivers and I start hearing the voices of a hundred people. It was almost as if I was in a crowded room. It happened twice more before I finally gave up on sleep.
Kinda scared right now. I've had minor experiences like this before, but I just thought at the time I was going crazy. Now I'm thinkin' it might be a bit more serious. I guess I'll bring it up with my doctor on my next visit (which I think comes up in about two more weeks).
ETA: Doctor visit now coming up a week faster than I originally thought.

Date: 2006-04-21 04:06 pm (UTC)I wonder if it might not be a side effect of one of the migraine drugs I'm taking, but I'll know more when I talk to the doctor.

Date: 2006-04-21 10:29 pm (UTC)from what my brother in law and my cousin have said (they both have epilepsy) that if you are having a seizure you pretty much don't realize it until afterwards.....and then you have loads of confusion and sleepiness. but then too there are many different types of seizures too.......and also the mechanism behind a migraine attack and an epileptic seizure is pretty much the same and there are alot of things that you can experience that are common to both disorders. (((hugs you)))
