xionin's journal and read her latest post. A writer from the B:tVS fandom is missing...
After yesterday's fiasco, I'm feeling refreshed. I had a few mishaps yesterday due to my walking around dazed and confused. I'd even left the stove on high after making my lunch yesterday. *sigh* I finally crashed around 10:30. Way early for me considering I'm usually a night owl. I thought I'd sleep better if I took sleeping pills. Overkill. I was so out of it that I was even confused in my dreams.
I didn't get a chance to do morning pages yesterday, but did today. Let me just say that it's amazing what comes out of my head when I allow myself the freedom to just write without censor. I learned a few things about msyelf and some of my issues.
I'm actually feeling pretty productive today. I mean, I got dressed. That's got to count for something. *cheeky grin*
Hubby sent of his business plan to Zurich. With any luck, we'll impress the guy. On other business fronts, we're having trouble advertising our community guide in any local publications. Because we don't charge for some of our services, we're competition for them. Bummer, huh? We'll work something else out, but it'll just take a bit more research.
I'm working on a few new wallpapers and I'll have them out this week. One based on the Angel episode "Shells," and another one based on the Joyce scene from B:tVS Season 7 episode "Conversations with Dead People."

Date: 2004-03-09 11:28 am (UTC)Sleeping pills have much the same effect on me. Same with any medicine that comes with one of those 'do not operate heavy machinery while taking this' warnings. My sleep becomes feverished with bizarre, often disturbing dreams. So I try to avoid both if at all possible.

Date: 2004-03-16 10:01 am (UTC)Odd coinciedence that I'm finally replying to this comment just as we've started a coversation on one of your bizarre dreams. lol
Usually mine are odd as well. Sometimes when I wake up I can't even put them into words to describe them to people because there just aren't words to describe what was going on.
It's just that when I take sleeping pills or even medication that causes drowsiness my dreams while still bizarre seem to take on a disturbing edge and tend to be more like nightmares. And I don't have nightmares very often otherwise.
