Glasses broke before my afternoon route started.  Luckily, I was already at work or I wouldn't have been able to get there. 

Yeah.  I'm kinda blind.

When I got back from my route I had to wait around just a bit for my hubby to take me home.  While I'm waiting, I decide to go and get some stuff from the vending machine.

Harder than it looks folks.  First, I can't see the numbers.  I press my nose to the glass and squint so I can see the numbers I want.  LOL.  Then at one point I dropped a dime on the floor.  The grey floor.  I had no hope in the world of ever finding it.

So, hubby will take me to work in the morning.  Then at 11am or so I have an emergency appointment with the eye doctor.  Hopefully they'll be able to work out some temporary frames for my old lenses, fix the break in the frames, or get me a trial pair of contacts.  I'll need something to wear while I'm waiting for new glasses to come in.

*sigh*  This sucks big fat hairy monkey... yeah.  Let's just say this sucks a bunch.

Gah! I can't walk two feet without my glasses. Mine are threatening to break, so I have to cough up for new ones soon. I hope you get yours fixed easily.

Yup, blind as a bat here too. That's why hubby had to drive me: I can't see well enough. I don't have the depth perception without my glasses. I just see pretty blobs of color. *gr*

So yeah, coughing up the money her too. Been putting it off for forever, but I got to do it this time.

Yep, pretty blobs of color here too, and the faint stuff gets blurred out. I need to get a new alarm clock I can actually see.

Gah, i just went through this!!
Mine broke at the nose-piece, and i could balance them precariously so i could write for a while...but...

Man, uber-headache. I, too, am blind. Fortunately it was already late, so i went to bed and in the a.m. went with Cat and Monstrous to her school and then Cat took me over to the horrible wal-mart where they put my lenses in a new frame.

Eighty bucks down, but i *had* to do it.

Now i need new lenses, as my 'scrip is like three years old.

Oh no! So sorry to hear about this. Although, remember when some asswipe stole karenbear's glasses right off her face?!?! At least *that* didn't happen to you. Small favors, I know. *hugs*
