Not really a huge fan of him or anything, he just seemed awful young (and wouldn't my Mom be proud of me for saying that?). I guess I'm just completely... gobsmacked (?) by all the celebrity deaths this year. I suppose it must seem like so many more to me because they're such large (and more familiar to me) names, you know?

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Mom said she'd heard a reporter the other day say something to the effect of, "It's not a good year to be a celebrity." Yeah, no shit...
