Doctor Doctor Go Away
Dec. 28th, 2005 04:13 pmI got through the ultrasound without making a complete fool of myself. Glad to have that over with.
Got the test results from all the testing I've had done on me in the last several days and everything is fine. No thyroid problems, no uterine cancer, no problems with cholesterol or diabetes. There were at least a dozen more tests I can't even rember now. I guess I'll find out more about what the ultrasound shows on my next appointment on the 6th. Hopefully my doctor will have some idea of what to do with me.
My hubby is sick again too. He's been fighting off this and that since before Thanksgiving. Finally caught up with him.
The doctor told him he's a day away from getting full on Pneumonia... whatever that means. They're going to watch him over the next day or so to see if the medications they're giving him will stop it. And? He's highly contagious. Poor guy, they put him on an Albuterol inhaler. If you've never taken one before they tend to make you a bit jittery.
Speaking of which, I'm back to using mine every four hours. I'm really hoping it's just another inversion and not me picking up on whatever hubby has. If I got what he's got? I'll be in the hospital again.
What else? Ah yes, the new Doctor on Doctor Who. I like him. I wasn't sure if I would. I was rather attached to the last one. This one is alright though. I'm curious to know what they'll do with the upcoming shows. When does that new series start now? In the Spring or something, right? There's a guest star in the next episode I'll be looking forward to for sure...
OMG! Tony Head on the next Doctor Who. How cool is that? *bouncebouncebounce*
...and with that I'm off to attempt more baking. Not sure how that will turn out, but I'm using chocolate this time. How bad can it be? (famous last words)

I know! And it looks like he's playing a villain! Squee!!
Oh! And Sarah Jane Smith was in the little trailer, too... I'd heard she was suppposed to make an appearance, but actually seeing her flash by was exciting! And we're going to get to see K9 too! I feel another fan-girlish squee coming on!

Date: 2005-12-30 11:51 pm (UTC)Hubby is feeling much better. So much better that he got dressed and snuck out of the house again to go turn in his timesheet at work. He was promptly turned around and kicked out the office with strict instructions to not return until he's better.
LOL. Still, was nice not to have to be the one he's driving nuts for a change. ::head.desk::
...and the Doctor Who is uploaded to Indiana Jane's website. There's a link to it in her journal. :)

Date: 2006-01-02 11:11 pm (UTC)Haven't heard about that DVD coming out, but how exciting! *crosses fingers* I really want that when it comes out. I've got all the episodes backed up on CD at the moment, but it would be nice to have them on DVD.
