Health News
For those of you that don't have them in your area I give you a definition: "A layer of warm air that prevents the rise of cooling air and traps pollutants beneath it; can cause an air pollution episode."

On the news last night they suggested you stay indoors if you can help it.  It's a nasty thing to go through with anyone suffering from asthma and/or allergies.  Unfortunately, I have both.  Inversions give me headaches, asthma attacks, sniffling, sneezing, so I can't rest.  Where's Nyquil when you need it?

Bah.  I feel like someone shoved some wool in my lungs.

Time Off
School is over for the season.  Still don't have my final grade, but my teacher finally gave us the grades to our second to last assignments.  LOL.  Yeah, he's a bit slow.  I also filed a formal complaint with my teacher about my teammate that literally didn't do any work for our project.  I suggested it would be unfair to give her the same grade as the rest of us considering we did all the work.  We'll see how well that goes over.

But I digress.  School is over for me until January 4th and I intend to catch up on LJ comments, graphic projects, and try to get some writing done.  You want something?  Now is the time to ask.

Good for you standing up for yourself. I hated group projects in high school and college because I always ended up doing most of the work.

In my last graduate class, the professor tried to make us do a group project, but I went to her and pled my case and she let me do it alone. I got the highest grade of anyone in the class. Also, at every class before we got our grade back, I got to listen to all the people griping about their team members who wouldn't show up for work meetings, or who would show up without their part completed, or would show up and do absolutely nothing.

Yup. I'm getting to the point I would honestly prefer to do it myself. I know I need to stick it out though. Some of the employers I'm looking at work in teams. *rolls eyes* Now I'm wondering why I would subject myself to that williningly. *gr*

I HATE inversions. Between that and my cigarette and perfume allergies, I need to live in a bubble. *Headdesk*

Make it for two and I'm right there with you. On both counts. I'm a former smoker, but quit about ten years ago from the combo of asthma and inversions. Perfurme? Forget about it.

I feel like I'm the only one walking through mall department stores covering my face. If they ever try to spray me, beatings will occur.

Oh yeah. Right there with you. There's a lot of stores I just won't go into anymore because of the scents they use. The perfume people I really steer clear of, and I've found the death glare works wonders on them. Hissing too if they get too close. *gr*

LOL, I practice my psychotically evil look all the time to ward off annoying people like that. (Although it always makes me laugh when I see it in the mirror, which spoils the effect.)

LOL. I know exactly what you mean. Doesn't help any that my hubby just laughs and calls me cute when I try the same effect out on him.

I'm trying to train him to do the deviously evil look as a means of seduction, but he usually bugs out his eyes and makes me laugh.

Same with my hubby. He usually ends up making me nervous. Looks like that end up in tickle wars.

LOL, that sounds like fun. Jeff's treating me lately like I'm going to break, and it's getting dull!
