saifaiFirst up, my forum is back in action. I logged in today to find it had been hacked. The changes they made were relatively minor considering past hacks I've had to the forum. However, the changes they made took me several hours to correct.
They deleted my administrator account. *grr* I finally figured out that I could go in the back way and fix it directly on the database server, but it took me for forever to figure that part out. Once I got it back up and running I upgraded the software. The cool thing is that I finally got the email notification feature to work so the account setup process, and the admin contact feature, work properly once again.
In other news, taking into considering my last post about my shopping bug, I found a couple things I want. I ever tell any of you about the makeup products I use? Several years back I got a makeup kit. It was supposed to be a lifetime supply. Basically, the stuff doesn't use any animal by-products. It's all natural pigment. You can use the colors to mix eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks, and more. Very cool stuff actually when I found out upon later use that they last and last. Even the pre-mixed lipsticks don't go rancid. I can hoard my favorite lipsticks!
Once I started using those, I started paying attention to what goes into products and what affects my skin. I tend to shy away from things with by-products in them, Lanolin, and Mineral Oil. They're the ones that most bother my skin. I got into making some of my own products after not finding what I wanted in stores. I wanted things made of natural butters and herbs. Got a bookshelf of herb and recipe books in my office. Cool stuff to make gifts out of, BTW.
I recently found a company that makes the products I've been looking for. Their entire line is made from natural products. None of them use the ingredients that bother me most. Many of them use the herbs I put in my own products. Plus? Their makeup line is manufactured the same way as the makeup set I got several years back.
I'm so in love with these products. LOL. I want everything they sell and I know I can't afford it. I mention it now only because I was handed a new catalog and I'm going nutso for it all. In case you're wondering what company I'm talking about, it's Arbonne. I've heard of the company before but never paid much attention to the products. Really wish I would have now.
I'm going crazy with catalogs as of late. Another one I got is the Pyramid Collection. I used to get the catalog forever and a day ago. I saw a friend with one the other day and immediately logged on and got their catalog sent to me. I heart these people. There's a bunch of clothes and jewelry I want in there.
There's also a few different companies that all have candles that I want. WANT. *bouncebouncebounce*
