My final grades came in from my systems analysis class.  I got an A.  Yay!  *bounce*  This means I'm maintaining my 4.0GPA.  w00t!

My last teacher told us that the degree we're working on is geared more towards systems analysis.  I'm quite enjoying the work.  I'll know how I feel about programming in a class or two, but I'm dreading that part.  My next class is project management.  I'm looking forward to seeing how well I do with that one as I'm interested in the field.  We'll see how well it all goes here in a month or two.  In the mean time, it's been a lot of fun to see what sort of employment is available for me once I get done with my degree.  It's kinda cool to finally have some marketable skills beyond "able to make put my favorite characters into fake pornographic photographs," which you know should be marketable.  I think it's a wonderful field, but I guess not many folks out there (besides the National Enquirer that is..) that are looking to hire photograph manipulators.  *gr*

7 days and counting until I go crazy.  I'm preparing myself.  I've been mentally going over potential plots and scenes.  I've been working out the details of my schedule and how I'll fit in writing time among my school reading and work and sleep.

Ooh!  I almost forgot.  My afore mentioned minions?  After a petition and much discussion about the subject, it has been decided that you all are to be called my Li'l Bads.  I pay in chocolate and offer benefits including slashy porn.  Inquire within...

That would be so cool. We don't get a lot of those types around here. I had a friend that used to go all out when I was knee high to a hobbit. They would setup the animatronics, the people in masks, coffins, fake blood, a maze to get to the candy, and everything.

*sigh* Oh how I miss the days. *gr*

That's so cool. My mom's house isn't that neat, but in the old part of town, an entire street (Elm, actually) had huge cauldrons (of punch), people yelling "Norman" from the top of Victorian houses, pop-up tombstones, huge spiderwebs, the works. It just got exciting for me as a kid the year they cancelled it (probably due to the age of the residents).
