saifaiJust finished reading a lovely story. It's a Spander with Peter Parker thrown in for flavor. It's called Dimensionally Challenged. The characters are great, and if you're looking for a slash crossover this is the one. Plenty of Buffy bashing for those of you in the fan club.
It brought to mind something I've wondered about though. I've seen the films for Spiderman, but I never really was a huge fan of the comic series or any cartoons for the character. In the film, his webs are natural aren't they? I'm wondering if in the comic series they're mechanical "shooters" though... It's just something mentioned in the story so I was wondering if any of ya'll are Spider Man geeks...

In other news, I finally did watch the most recent episode of Angel. Let me just say that world domination via puppets who drink JD and swear a lot is just... disturbing. I laughed the entire time, and truly my sides hurt from that. But still, I just couldn't get this image out of my mind of this backstage scene of Burt and Ernie both drinking JD and swearing and using cheesy pickup lines on their fellow puppet actresses... Yeah. Disturbing.
So, Puppet!Angel is just cute as can be. Him attacking Spike was just priceless. The fight scene with the other puppets, "It's a full scale attack!" was just surreal. I couldn't help but laugh after they showed Gunn after he'd "defeated" his opponent... her cotton entrails spread all over and him holding an arm (or was it a leg?).

Yeah, so, I followed that up with a completely shallow yet endearing film... Legally Blonde 2. Gotta love the Million Dog March with the great pink banner. Heh.
