Where did the time go?
Jul. 8th, 2005 10:26 amThis whole school thing is taking up way more of my time than I ever anticipated. I don't know how the folks working full time do it. Though my teacher did say that with working a full time job, spending time with his family, and doing teaching part time, the one thing that tends to lose out is sleep.
I turned in my first paper yesterday. It's rather a different process writing for someone other than myself. I actually have to string together a coherant thought for one. For another, they want me to say in 500 words what can be said in 25.
So haven't had any free time lately. All my free time has either been spent emailing people or reading more chapters for school. I've tried to make updates to my site, and have managed to work on my duties for DMOZ and Webring. That's about it though. I got out Photoshop once in the last four days and immediately closed it back up once I found I forgot to do something else for school.
One of these days kiddos. I swear, there's nothing better out there to get the creative juices flowing than being prevented from working on projects. LOL
I've been reading people's journals, but haven't been commenting. I hope to get caught up this weekend, but who knows. Hubby is starting a part time weekend job to make up for lost overtime hours, and to help pay for my car while I'm off work (school ends July 15th). Anyway, that's a long-winded way of saying I miss y'all dearly, and *hugs* all around for those of you who need it. Extra *hugs* for those of you in London. I pray you're all okay. Feel free to comment and let me know. *cough* :)

Date: 2005-07-08 11:07 pm (UTC)That kind of thing always used to bug me at school. Three page essays on stuff you could easily cover concisely on the back of an envelope. Why?! To teach us the art of waffling?
My website will son be back up again so I'll try and remember to submit it to DMOZ, and I'll go through my links and see what else could be added. ;)
Also - what Webring do you run?

*rolls eyes* What better way to prepare us for the corporate world?

Thank you muchly dear. :)

Nothing fandom related, if you can believe it. There's a whole list of 'em here, but I run several. There's one for X-men, Matrix, A Bug's Life, Movie Reviews, Entertainment, Robin Williams, Timeshares, and a few miscellaneous others. I've tried a couple times to adopt fandom related ones, but never seem to have much luck with those.
