...on comments that is.  Sorry about that.

I took Hubbyfai to the Build-a-Bear Factory yesterday to get his own bear.  We are now the proud bear parents of Mr. Shaggy Bear.  He's a cute lil' bugger.

We didn't do the cruising around yesterday that we thought we would.  We might go some time today though.  We just ended up having a lovely late lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant, then to the mall for the bear, and then to the video store.

Speaking of which, we rented "Harold and Kumar Go to WhiteCastle" and "First Daughter".  In case you didn't know, Marc Blucas (Riley from BtVS) was in the last one there.  I never really liked him in Buffy, though more because I just didn't like his character.  He was such a push over, and really a mental whimp.  But in this movie, I really got to appreciate his range of expressions.  I knew right away that something was wrong with him because I could read it in his eyes.  He's very expressive.  Overall I rather enjoyed the film, and though I'm sure Hubbyfai is loathe to admit it, he did too. *gr*

We're gonna have some brunch, sit down together and watch the third episode of "Doctor Who" *nerd!squee*, and then adjoin to our computers.  Should be a relaxing day.  I'll get a chance to catch up with comments later today.

For those of you playing the home game, I will not get a chance to get caught up on graphics today like I thought I would.  I'm being kicked off the main computer and relegated to the other one for the day since Hubby has work to do.  *rolls eyes*  Meh.  I'll just be stuck reading Spander fic.  *sigh*  Oh the burdens I must bear.

[livejournal.com profile] rackham revealed to me that he'd scoured that store trying to find the appropriate bear and clothing for a Christmas present for me... but was unable to find the right color bear OR a black leather coat in order to make me my very own Blondie Bear. I love that he'd even think of it in the first place. :-)

How was "Harold and Kumar"? It looked like it might be funny, but I really wasn't sure I wanted to watch an hour and a half movie about going to a fast food place we don't have in the area (especially since I get occasional odd cravings for White Castle sliders as it is!).

We're planning to watch Episodes 2 and 3 today, as well (last week was pretty busy, and we never got the chance to see "The End of the World"). It's just a Doctor Who watchin' day, I guess!

I admit it. I may have absently wondered if there was a proper coat I could get to dress up my bear. lol.

Indeed, it was a lovely thought. *gr*

How was "Harold and Kumar"?

Rather like a cross between "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and "Cheech and Chong". It took them the entire movie to get to the burger place. The rest of the movie is their adventures. Not all of it was funny. Some of it just moved too slow. There really were some darn funny scenes all throughout though.

It's just a Doctor Who watchin' day, I guess!

*bouncebouncebounce* Gotta love Doctor Who. *gr*
