Day Two. No Car.

saifaiWell, the mechanic found a few more problems. Something about a thin battery cable turning red when you start the engine and possible fire hazards. Bla, bla, bla. *gr* Might get my car back tonight.
Mom drove me to work this morning. This morning after my route I walked into the main office to catch my ride and found Hubbyfai there doing dispatch. He said the ride I arranged yesterday volunteered for extra work. Was kinda funny how I got a ride back home. He looked around the office as he said, "You're getting a ride home with..." His eyes narrowed in on his victim. He smiled a truly angelic smile and asked, "Alan. Where might you be going?" Alan eyes Hubbyfai warily and says, "Home... why?" Hubbyfai smiled even wider and asked, "So, where might home be Alan?" Alan responded with, "Garfield. Why, you need a ride home?" Garfield, for those 212 of you who don't live in Boise, is a school on the far side of town from where I live.
So, Alan took me home. Nice guy. Just moved here from Florida after his divorce 7 months ago.
As luck would have it, my Mom is taking her lunch late today so she can swing by my house and take me back to work in time for my PM shift. I'll be there maybe half hour early, but I'm not complaining. Will give me a chance to finally sit down and read that book I haven't yet got around to reading. Tony Hillerman's "Skinwalkers" in case you're wondering. I'd seen the film version, and read Hillerman's other books except this one.
That is my crazy day of excitement for you. Pretty exciting, huh? I can barely contain my joy. *rolls eyes*
::giggles:: Meh, it's not so bad. I'm just in a bad mood cuz I got PMS. And I hurt. But at least I have chocolate. And had a long nap. So it's all good. *bounce*
