New Layout & Upcoming Story Update

Been playing around with my layout all day. I'd originally downloaded a layout template from Dreamystyles, but found that I didn't like the way the s1 looked. None of my pages matched, so I set out to figure out how to convert it to s2.

Guess what? It's impossible to convert it. So, basically I just took the brand spanking new manip I created and planted it smack dab in the middle of my previous layout. I changed the colors to match, and voila!

I got me some Spandery goodness to look at every single day. WooHoo!!! *bounce* LOOK!

Okay, I admit it. I kept the single pixel background image from the original template set that started this whole damn thing. Honestly though, this layout is courtesy of ignited's tutorial. But still, mucho thanks to Dreamystyles for helping me get the creative juices flowing.

BTW, A little bit later I'll be posting part 3 of my "Never Enough" series for those who've been playing the home game. Don't worry, I'll link you to the previous parts. I'm not sure how long it's gonna be, but there will be both Xander and Spike POV.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to finish writing it. *gr*

Oh, lovely! I really like that -- very realistic manip, and just...with the hotness.

I don't think I know your "Never Enough" series, but I'll check it out. And hey, were you the one that was writing those interconnected "pretty little blush" ficlets/drabbles? I have to search around for those sometime.

Thank you muchly. I'm very happy with this layout. Finally got me some pretty boys to look at. :)

I fixed that problem. I thought I'd posted it in my journal before, but I guess not. Anyway, Chapter 1 is now up. And yes, I'm the one that wrote the Pretty Little Blush series. I've got about 3 more in the works to follow up. Just never seem to be able to find the time to work on them. The ones I've finished so far are in my memories.

Whoa. That just looks too damn cool. I've been wanting to change my colors on my layout but someone else did it for me and I don't want to hurt their feelings by taking it down. But damn...you're looks great and I love the colors!! You're so good.

SQUEEEE!! More Never Enough. I love that series to bits, and have only found it on ff.net. Can't wait to see what you do with it! It's so great that you're writing again.

Thank you! Comments like that just make me blush. :) Don't feel bad about wanting something different. I don't know about you, but I personally have a pretty short attention span. If you ever want any help, just let me know.

And yes, I'm glad to be writing again too. I figured it out the other day that I haven't seriously written anything in about three months. I've thought about it plenty, but every time I look to my muse for inspiration he just polishes his glasses and says, "Oh dear..." a lot. It's been kinda frustrating. *gr*

Thanks for the offer, I may hollar at you! I think I won't put a banner at the top, I can't make them myself and I have no idea how to do it. That way I can change it almost weekly and not have to worry.

That's not a bad idea actually. I did that myself for a long time. I would just change my default icon adjust my colors to suit. I'd picked a layout that made the icon more prominent at the top. :D Good luck with it all.

Well, thank you deary! It's always a pleasure to hear that others like it too. I'm especially happy with this one myself. I don't think I've ever had pretty boys to look at in my journal.

Good luck with your layout. It's always a fun time trying to get these things sorted. I don't think I'd even be able to do it if it weren't for tutorials, and the like. Ya' know? :)
