Any TV buffs out there?
Nov. 8th, 2004 04:02 pmHubby called me with an unusual question, as he usually does since I can often find the answer. This one had me stumped though. It sounds vaguely famiiar, but I can't place it.
It was a carpet sweeper cartoon. I immediately placed it to someone's opening or closing credits on an old tv show. I first thought the Carol Burnett Show show, but dismissed it. She had a bag lady in hers I think (which was a cartoon versin of her). So that's not it. Still sounds familiar though.
Hubby said, "He's like a little janitor or something pushing a broom. He had a little mustache."
Still starting to sound like the one from the show, but that's not it. Sesame Street had a joke version of Charlie Chaplin, but that was a person not a character. Saturday Night Live character cartoon maybe?
ETA: Got it narrowed down to either an episode from the Pink Panther or the janitor from Peabody's Improbable History. Thank you to everyone who helped out with that one. *hugs all around*

Date: 2004-11-08 03:22 pm (UTC)Carol Burnett had a caricatrue of herself dressed like a char-lady, mopping with a pail and mop... Little mob-cap on her head and big shoes...
Damn, the guy with the broom... I'm thinking older, maybe, like around the time of the Dick Van Dyke show...
Grrrrrrrr.
Now it's in my head. Evol!!
