saifaiI'm applying for a part time job tomorrow. I mentioned wanting to get one before, but hubby found one he thinks I'll be well suited for. It'd only be like 20 hours a week spread over 3 days. But it's something. *shrugs*
I'm terribly nervous about it though. I always get major anxiety attacks over things like this. I'll be fine right up until the night before, and the day of, my first day on the job. I'll be in the bathroom every five minutes, sweating, and generally feeling like I'm gonna pass out. The fact that I personally know the boss and some of the people I'll be working with helps some.
Oh, and the job? I'll be applying for the job of monitor on a school bus. Usually I'll work on the preschool and elementary school busses keeping the kidlets occupied so they don't disturb the driver. *bounce* Sounds kinda fun actually.
I'm kinda looking forward to it in a way too, as it's a chance to get out and do some almost mindless activity for a few hours a day. A break in the schedule of my business at home. I'll still have time to work with my sites and any other projects I've got going on, including the Nano I'm outlining at the moment. Plus? It's an extra $8 an hour to help support my DVD habit.
Anyway, I'm going to apply tomorrow. If everything works out, I'll start training on Monday. I'll let y'all know.
