*shuffles in wearing bunny slippers*
Oct. 8th, 2004 10:12 amMuh? *nods* Yeah, it's gonna be one of those days. Yesterday some guy going door to door looking for votes knocked on my door. I open it up and he introduces himself and says, "My Lord, you look exhausted. Are you alright?" At some point in the conversation he wanted me to ask him intelligent questions about his candidates polictical views. I answered with an oh so witty, "Uh... I don't know."
Thanks for
kyrieane and
chicken_cem I got the problems with my design site all worked out. There was only minimal hair pulling involved trying to get it fixed. *hugs you both*
So, what's on today's agenda you ask?
1. After much poking and prodding, I'll do a bit more work on my already started third chapter of the White Oleander piece.
2. Also, I need a plot for my Nano. It's driving me nuts. I have a setting. I could probably give you detailed blueprints of the setting. I have a scene involving naked guys in a shower. I have no plot. I have nothing for my characters to do.
I made the mistake of mentioning this plot problem to hubby. I made a passing joke of, "Gay me up, Scotty" in reference to my scene with nekkid men in a shower (meaning without a plot my mind takes the natural slashy course of thought). He did the eyebrow thing and then suggested I think of a better way to use Bert and Ernie. *boggles* I have no idea what he was talking about, but apparently in his mind gay characters equals Bert and Ernie. I now cannot get the visuals out of my mind. They're starting to looking like the village people. Ernie is the sailor, before you ask.
Thanks for

Date: 2004-10-08 09:47 am (UTC)Gee, what a nice way to greet someone. I had a policeman say something similar to me once. I'd rolled through a stop sign in my neighborhood and got pulled over. Three boys in the back of the car crying in their carseats. I just was trying to get them home. He said that, and allowed me to just go on home without a ticket. ;-)
I laughed at the Bert and Ernieness. :) I was just talking yesterday about how fun it'd be to have David Boreanaz and James Marsters play Bert and Ernie, and now my mind has gone to a totally different place. ;-)
