I haven't talked fandom in quite awhile. So, I'm giving it a go. Yet another random post.
TELEVISION
I don't take all that much time to watch TV these days. I'm always hopeful though. So I collect episodes in the hopes that some day I'll make the time to watch them. There's a few that've caught my interest, and that I make an effort to keep up with.
Chuck: ZOMG, the Terminator Mom on the show is fantastic. And then Casey and Morgan working together. Or even just the fact that they let Morgan in the CIA to begin with. LOL
Hawaii Five-o: I'm loving the show. The actors who play the main characters are excellent, as are the support crew. Alex O'Loughlin plays a great strong role. Scott Caan I've spent about half the season trying not to confuse him with his Dad (they look so much alike, and some of their mannerisms are similar too). But he's growing on me, and those two get along like an old married couple. Love, love, LOVE Daniel Dae Kim. He's the most awesomist EVER! ;D
Leverage: This show never ceases to surprise me. I love the premise of the show. The plots play out great. The characters are loveable, and I love how they interact with each other. It goes without saying that Christian Kane's character Eliot is my favorite (hello muscles... and hair). The most recent episode I watched with Eliot in a big Matrix-esque shootout was completely COOL!!! God I loved that. Had to watch that one on repeat a bit. :D Guns, and shooting, and high body count, and then the guilt. I'm totally in love. *dreamy sigh*
MOVIES
Haven't watched all that many lately. I did happen to catch The Tourist, which honestly surprised me. I've always loved Angelina Jolie, though as she gains more super-stardom, I'm driven just a little nuts. But I absolutely ADORE her co-star Johnny Depp. The plot of the film was just this side of been done, but it had a twist that kept me watching. Part of that was Paul Bettany's character. The interaction between these three was what drew me.
Over Christmas I watched Toy Story 3. It was really cute. The filmmakers really went to a lot of effort to tie it in with the first two, and give the series the ending it deserved. They paid great homage to the series. I think they did a great job with it. Loved the new characters, but I must say Spanish Buzz dancing around was hiliarious. LOL
That's about it for now. There's lots of other stuff I watch on occasion, my staple items such as Psych and Ghost Hunters, but... Time is funny these days. There never seems to be enough of it.
I want to round up a list of stories I've been reading, but I'll need more time for that one. Next time!
