saifaiI'm going to do Nano this year. I know, I know... where will I ever find the time between work, and school, and family time? Wel, best I can figure if I cut out all my extracurricular reading (ie reading fanfic) and cut down my sleep to two hours a night... I just might be able to pull it off.
So yeah, I'm not gonna pull it off. Did I happen to mention I don't have a plot yet?
Right, so that plot issue. My brain, in its infinite wisdom, has decided to help me cycle through the random plots spinning through my brain. I've been having story dreams again. Every night for the past week I've been having them. My only problem is that they aren't complete enough to make any sense of them.
For example, last night I had a dream where there's this thing with the thing and there's some world domination thing. There's these people, two tribes in New Zealand to be exact, that live off docks and ward off outsiders with shotguns like they're from the Appalachians in West Virginia or something. Only there's this cute hunky Maori guy who was born there and went off to college and became a professor and now is back to try and save the day that managed to get back in without getting hurt. And somewhere in there is these people, probably aliens, that have some plot to destroy the world with this thing for something... or something.
You can see the problem, right? *nods* Doesn't make a lick of sense to me either.
*sigh* Oh well. At least this time I'm planning on making the most of it. I think I'll take advantage of any regional meetings going on here and see if I can make some new friends while I'm at it *waves to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
