Funny you should mention that...
Aug. 18th, 2005 05:04 amIt's funny the things you notice about yourself. Hubby comes home the other day and reveals a habit he only recently noticed himself doing. He says that at work he's a wiz at multi-tasking. He can dispatch on the radio, talk on the phone, and hold a conversation with a driver all at the same time.
o.0 Yup. I guess he figured out how he was doing it one day when a driver came in and was talking to him. He couldn't hear a word they were saying, but still understood everything. Took a minute, but he realized he'd been reading their lips. He says he does it all the time on instinct and just hadn't known.
Interesting, no?
Now, I'm a different story entirely. I come home tonight from class (at 10pm I might add). Hubby was working on my computer asked me to take over on a project for him. He wanted me to help him create a benefits worksheet comparing the aspects of the two different dental programs. As I'm typing up part of the list, I look over and notice my speaker doesn't have power. Not that I really wanted to listen to anything at the moment, but I would later. I must have traced the wires to make sure everything was plugged in right for over a half hour before I realized the problem.
The power switch had been shut off.
*snerk* Yeah. I'm a bit tired. How did you guess? I'm going to bed soon, says the lady who got home exhausted at 10pm and is still awake at 5am. Don't ask. It's a long story. Anyway, going to bed soon. With any luck I'll be able to catch up on LJ tomorrow. I can only hope.
