Merry Christmas!!!

Took a quick photo of my Christmas tree last night before bed. Idn't it cute?

Breakfast
I made some sticky buns to eat while we opened presents. It was a rather last minute decision, but they turned out really well. I made a few changes, and added some simple icing to the top. But overall, very good. Here's the recipe if you're curious.
RHONDA'S CHANGES: I did a mix of brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon as the topping and left out the syrup. I lowered the oven temperature to 425. I baked them in a glass 8x8 dish (which as I figured out later makes a difference in how they turn out). I made a simple icing out of powdered sugar and milk (it was a bit runny). Drizzled that on top and let it melt in a bit. Super, super yummy!
The Haul
My mother and I made out pretty good this year. So many thoughtful gifts from my friends and family. Thank you to those that sent me Christmas cards! I didn't get a chance to send any this year, but you all were in my thoughts.
I got from my mother a blue tooth for my phone, some Skull Candy earbuds (which come with the buds made for small ears, which is so much more comfortable for me), and some lovely winter boots.

My sister gave me Tokio Hotel music, an Amazon gift card, some beauty products, and an absolutely adorable purple Mazin' Hamster from Webkinz. I'm looking forward to registering that one. Can't wait to see what special items come with it!
My best friend in Tennessee, Freddie, went all out and got me a Wii. I'll be having a lot of fun getting that hooked up later on today. I can't wait!
Merry Christmas
I hope everyone has a really good weekend, no matter how you're spending it.

"Refrigerator biscuits help you make short work of getting this yummy treat on the table. Cinnamon sugar, chopped pecans and margarine coat each morsel of dough, and a drizzling of dark corn syrup makes sure they will be very sticky."
INGREDIENTS:
1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough 2 tablespoons margarine, melted 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar | 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup 1/4 cup chopped pecans |
DIRECTIONS:
| 1. | Cut each biscuit in half and form each piece into a ball. |
| 2. | Combine sugar, cinnamon and pecans in small bowl. Dip each biscuit half into margarine, then into sugar mixture. Place in greased 8-inch cake pan. Mix remaining margarine and sugar and spoon over biscuits balls. Drizzle corn syrup over all . |
| 3. | Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes. Serve warm. |
