Drive-by Update

MIA for now. I thought I'd picked up a virus yesterday and ran scan after scan, but as it turns out someone jumped onto my internet connection (and I've got cable internet, with no wireless router). I figured out how to dump the riders off my network, but I'm currently working to protect my network from them. Wish me luck!

BTW, I saw the first episode of that Sherlock Holmes series last night. LOVED IT! Couldn't stop smiling the whole time. Those two do nothing but flirt the whole time. Was so much fun to watch!

damn... i was struggling with my computer a bit too, unistalled the antivirus and got a new one, scanned the disk, cleaned some malaware... now it seems to be working better but just in case i'm putting some order to make a backup ASAP

It can be so hard to get your system cleaned up sometimes. I'd had trouble with mine once when a major virus went straight past my protection software. Don't blame you a bit for getting new stuff, and good to hear yours is working good now.

I did get the network locked down a bit, and figured out how to dump them off if they sneak on again. Don't know why they bother though. It's not like they can't go down to the local library for free internet. LOL

yeap... my computer keep restarting alone from time to time... i'm sure i have something there but well, at least it's working fast again now
