I had a dream again. I started out so much like the others, but this one ended different. Someone else was there.

I don't remember details. I just know that I had seen too much. I saw destruction all around me. I was in front of a house watching everyone I cared for falling. I couldn't help them.

I screamed out to them. I wanted to run and help them, but I knew I couldn't. I collapsed to my knees, crying in despair. I was so lost.

I felt arms come around me. A man, older than myself. Larger than me with big hands. He crouched down behind me and put his arms around me. He hugged me lightly me and leaned to the side so he could see my face.

"It's going to be alright."

I wanted him away from me. I didn't want his touch. I couldn't stand it. Nobody did that to me anymore. Nobody showed that much care.

"I'll be right here for you."

I struggled, but somehow couldn't bring myself to fight any longer. I couldn't fight the growing sense of safety and warmth. Someone was there for me. He would keep me safe.

"You'll see... you're going to be okay."

I woke up just as I relaxed back into his embrace.
