First day off.  Didn't accomplish much other than catching up with fanfic, going to the bank in my jammies, and hiding from the postman.  Oh, and eat my weight in chocolate. *gr*  I'll try to get caught up on LJ comments and my various projects sometime tomorrow.  Except for [livejournal.com profile] lazuli_kat Spander 12 Days of Christmas thingy, which I've been working on all day here and there.

Thought I'd also mention something I only picked up on today.  I worked with this group back in college when I was majoring in Psychology.  Today is the last day the public can comment on this issue to have any sway (and don't be surprised if you haven't heard of this either as this was a last minute bid to get the issue passed before the term runs out for the current leaders of these organizations...):
1-800-SUICIDE is in danger of being completely shut off to the 2,000 individuals in crisis who reach out daily because our government has not only ended all funding but also continues to owe close to $300,000 in already appropriated money to this Hopeline from over 2 years ago.
