The subject is from a quote out of "Every Day's a Holiday," in case you were wondering.
Using Up My Round Tuits
I've been working to get caught up on little projects today. I finished some graphics
babyhar requested. I scanned and cropped photos for my mother. I put in a bid for a digital voice recorder. I cleaned up my desktop and outfitted it with holiday wallpaper. I even sorted out the addressed I need for the Christmas cards I'm sending out (now all I need to do is make 'em out and send 'em).

Friday was a bit of a hectic day for me. That probably isn't the best word to use, but it's the best I could come up with to describe dealing with a flailing child. One of the special needs girls on our bus, who's in the second grade I think, threw a fit. She's been off her medication for a month, and we got the brunt of it. It's the second attack in a week for her. I'm still sore from holding her down.
Ooh, Orlaaannnddooooo!
Saturday my Mom dragged me to the theater to see "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest," which she's never seen before. After seeing this, I'm even more convinced that there's something going on between Captain Jack and Will. I think they're doin' it on the sly. I'm rather looking forward to the next one to see how it all develops.

Also on Saturday, I met with the founder of the Paranormal Society of Idaho. If I had to put it into television terms to describe what they do, it would have to be a cross between Ghost Whisperer and Ghost Hunters. They do a mix of investigating claims and documenting them scientifically to find logical explanations, and failing that they use alternative methods to help spirits move on. I'll be working with them for a "free year" as she called it, to see whether or not I'll work out with the group. I want to do it, but can I handle what they face every day? Sometime during that period I'll go through my training on the equipment and methods.
...and with that, I bid you adieu.
P.S. I'll have some fic recs or something in a day or two when I gather up all the latest links.
