Somebody put a leash on me.
Jun. 27th, 2006 09:59 amNow that I'm back on my meds, I can only shake my head at myself. Sometimes I wonder about me...
As for today, I'm way tired about to take a nap. I just didn't sleep last night and woke up early.
Hubby is heading off to the mountains today to go on some bonding retreat thingy with his fellow office workers. Of course this also means that said office works, who also happen to run the office that I work for, will be gone. The staff of ten people run a facility that is currently only running about 25 routes (which actually requires about 35 drivers and 10 monitors).
Did I happen to mention that today they've had 17 groups call in for transportation to special events? Normally this wouldn't be a big deal. But when you've got three drivers who've volunteered to run the office while the regular staff is gone running things? It's a big frightening.
I only hope they make it through the day. I'm a bit worried for them. I've seen how at least one of these poor inexperienced women handled herself one day when she manned the dispatch desk for a couple hours while the regular office folks were out to lunch and running errands. Poor girl nearly had a nervous breakdown when things fell apart. *snerk*
Okay, enough babbling. Nap time...
